Superb Biedermeier Lyre sewing table. Made from flame birch with intarsia inlaid decoration to the wings. The interior is fitted with small compartments also made from birch. This is a lovely example of the refined Swedish Biedermeier period. The piece has been made by a skilled craftsman cabinetmaker which is reflected in the quality workmanship.
