A Rare Swedish Grace cabinet on stand. Stained flame birch with Burr Elm doors with string inlaid Ebony decoration. The base of the cabinet has a Neo Clasical inlaid decoration in exotic timbers. The interior is lined with Flame Birch and has adjustable shelving.

This cabinet would have been made as an exhibition or commisioned piece. We attribute this piece to ERIC CHAMBERT one of Swedens important Designers of the time.

Swedens romantic national style Swedish Grace was one of the most remarkable era’s of 20th Century Design. Making its breakthrough on the world stage at the 1925 Paris Exhibition where it won many awards.

Swedish Grace epitomises refined elegance and simple lines enhanced by exquisite details and ancient motifs.Combining the best of Neo Classicism with Art Deco made this the Golden Era of design.
